India Business Unit Head - Firmware & Embedded Systems

Role & responsibilities:

- Lead and grow the India engineering organization, owning both technical direction and people leadership.

- Drive product engineering strategy and execution across multiple technology areas within the firmware domain.

- Own customer-facing engineering delivery, partnering with global enterprise customers on technical requirements and issue resolution.

- Run operational and business reviews, tracking engineering performance against key metrics and goals.

- Build and scale engineering talent, including hiring, mentoring, and organizational structure.

- Collaborate closely with global engineering leadership across other regional hubs to align on strategy and execution.

Candidate requirements:

- 20+ years of experience in firmware or embedded systems engineering, with a strong track record in technical and people leadership.

- Proven experience leading a large engineering organization of 100+ people, ideally within a product engineering setup.

- Deep domain expertise in BMC firmware or platform manageability technologies.

- Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers such as hyperscalers, silicon partners, and OEM/ODM manufacturers.

- Strong exposure to global, distributed engineering collaboration across multiple geographies.

- Demonstrated ability to drive engineering quality, security, and process governance at an organizational level.
