Role Overview:
The Business Head - Gold Loan Vertical will lead, strategize, and expand the Gold Loan business across multiple states. This senior leadership role demands deep industry expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record in business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Expansion:
- Develop and implement strategies to scale the Gold Loan business
- Identify new markets, set up branches, and drive profitability
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve AUM targets
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Drive customer acquisition and portfolio expansion
- Optimize pricing, interest rates, and product mix
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing sales & operations team
- Define KPIs and ensure goal achievement
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Ensure sound risk assessment and regulatory compliance
- Maintain portfolio quality and low NPAs
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances:
- Forge partnerships with banks, fin techs, and key stakeholders
- Leverage technology for customer experience and operational efficiency
Key Requirements:
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred)
- Experience: Gold Loan business (NBFC/BFSI)
Skills:
- Business expansion, risk management, and P&L leadership
- Strategic thinking and operational excellence
- Strong market insight into gold loan customer behaviour
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across regions
