Job Description "AVP - Financial Reporting & Internal Audit" Job Location - Gurgaon Work Mode - WFO (ALL 5 days mandatory) Lead the Financial reporting and Internal audit function of the organization reporting to the Finance Controller. The job entails providing leadership in facilitating company-wide book closing process, quarterly and annual reporting of companies results in accordance with IND AS and SEBI requirements and leading the Internal audit execution plan in close partnership with consultants. The ideal candidate should have proven industry experience in a listed company environment, strong communication skills, and collaborative approach to engage with cross functional leaders, Auditors, consultants, and third-party partners in driving execution. Experience of a listed company, IND AS accounting including would be ideal. Job Description: - Primary owner for publishing the quarterly and annual financial statements as per INDAS and SEBI requirements and own all Regulatory compliances. - Lead, guide and facilitate companywide closing process, monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring accuracy in partnership with operational teams and compliance with appropriate INDAS standards and regulatory requirements. - Act as a subject matter expert on technical accounting INDAS and other regulatory compliances and SEBI disclosures and compliances. - Close engagement with the Statutory, Internal Audit & other third party in a defining the calendar, the execution plan and successful completion of the audit coverage. - Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation - The candidate will lead as finance partner responsible for working closely with functional and technical teams in developing and enforcing Master Data Design in SAP, chart of accounts hierarchies, IFC and Internal controls, systems integrating with SAP. The candidate must have expert knowledge of SAP and should have prior experiences in SAP related implementations. - Partner the Controller in executing the Governance vision and strengthening the controls environment in the organization. As a key part of the job the candidate will be the primary owner for Internal controls over financial reporting and internal controls for operational excellence. Ability to lead Independently corporate internal audit work which will include: - Monitoring and managing the outsourced internal audit activities. - Discussion with process owners on the observations. - Preparation and monitoring of the risk mitigation plans. - Review and audit of the key and critical processes in corporate. - Develop continuous monitoring of controls and automated KPIs. Responsible for managing the Internal financial controls which will include: - Maintaining risk registers for the finance and operating function. - Management review of the internal financial control's compliance. - Responsible for the overall IFC framework. - Preparation of audit reports highlighting Audit findings and recommendations. Skills and Qualifications: - 15-18 years proven accounting experience, with experience in a large publicly traded organization - Professional accounting certification i.e. Chartered Accountant with expert Knowledge of finance and regulatory standards (INDAS) - Experience in Governance and Regulatory compliance. - Strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work cross functionally, partner business and lead the management of external consultants. - Experience with financial systems/applications (SAP)
