Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as an Income

Tax Associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the tax-related functions of the organisation, ensuring compliance with income tax laws, and providing tax planning support. You will play a key role in preparing and filing income tax returns, dealing with tax assessments, and advising on tax matters to ensure effective tax management.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, including TDS, and other statutory taxes.

- Monitor deadlines for tax filing and ensure timely submission to avoid penalties.

Tax Planning & Advisory:

- Provide tax planning advice to optimise tax liabilities for clients or the organization.

- Assist with the evaluation of tax implications of business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and other

corporate transactions.

- Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organisation.

Tax Assessments & Representation:

- Represent clients or the organisation in tax audits and assessments.

- Coordinate with tax authorities to resolve disputes and address any queries or notices received.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and complete records of tax filings and related documentation.

- Prepare detailed tax reports for internal stakeholders or clients, outlining tax liabilities and strategies.

Internal Controls & Risk Management:

- Monitor and ensure effective internal controls in relation to tax compliance.

- Identify and mitigate potential tax-related risks.
