Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations, with a focus on Controls, bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable management. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting functions, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of Indian accounting standards and GST regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Controls:

- Day to day cost review

- Setting up controls in the system

Bookkeeping & Record Maintenance:

- Review prepared books

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Handle reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer, inter-company).

Accounts Receivable Management:

- Monitor customer MIS to ensure timely creation of invoices

- Reconcile receivables, follow up on outstanding invoices, and resolve payment discrepancies.

- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams for billing and collection cycles.

Accounts Payable Management:

- Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.

- Maintain proper documentation for vendor bills, purchase orders, and payment approvals.

- Manage aging reports and maintain healthy vendor relationships.

Compliance & Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like GST, TDS, and other applicable tax laws.

- Assist in statutory and internal audits.

- Prepare periodic MIS reports for management review.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

- CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification

- Experience in Audit firm is a big plus

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance.

- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books or ERP systems).

- Good understanding of taxation GST, TDS etc

- Proficiency in MS Excel and analytical tools.

- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
