In2IT EBS - SAP HCM Consultant - Payroll

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant with expertise in Payroll and ESS/MSS modules to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end SAP HCM implementations and support, with specific experience in Indian Payroll, Employee Self-Service (ESS), and Manager Self-Service (MSS) functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP HCM modules, particularly Payroll (India) and ESS/MSS.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP HCM system solutions.

- Handle the full implementation cycle including requirement gathering, blueprinting, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.

- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Payroll processing and ESS/MSS functionalities.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

- Train end-users and provide documentation as needed.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory changes in Payroll and HR processes.

Required Skills and Experience

3-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM, with a strong focus on:

- Indian Payroll configuration and processing

- ESS (Employee Self-Service) and MSS (Manager Self-Service) implementation and support

- Experience in HR master data, time management, and organizational management

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori interface for HCM (preferred)

- Solid understanding of statutory compliance related to Payroll in India (PF, ESI, Income Tax, etc.)

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Experience working in both implementation and support projects

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, HR, or a related field

- SAP HCM Certification (preferred but not mandatory)

- Experience working with government or public sector clients (a plus)
