Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled SEO & AEO Specialist who can strengthen our organic presence across search engines (Google, Bing), answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity), and AI-driven search experiences.
The ideal candidate understands both traditional SEO and the evolving landscape of AEO, ensuring our brand ranks across SERPs, and AI-powered summaries.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage full-funnel organic growthtechnical SEO, content optimization, schema markup, keyword research, and AI search optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Off-Page SEO:
- Build and manage a robust backlink acquisition strategy through outreach, partnerships, and content syndication.
- Manage off-page SEO initiatives across different regions ensuring geo-relevant backlink profiles and authority building.
- Monitor backlink profile and disavow toxic links to maintain domain authority.
- Leverage PR, guest posts, and thought-leadership content for organic visibility.
- Identify high-authority domains and execute digital PR campaigns to strengthen regional presence.
Technical SEO:
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexing, and speed-related issues.
- Optimize site structure, schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, robots.txt, and Core Web Vitals.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in new features, themes, and code releases.
- Maintain strong hygiene of website health including fixing 404s, redirects, broken links, and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement structured data and ensure compliance with Google Search Essentials.
On-Page SEO:
- Optimize meta tags, headers, internal linking, and content structure for better ranking and engagement.
- Manage on-page SEO optimizations for different regions to ensure localized keywords, content relevance, and search behavior alignment.
- Research and implement target keywords across landing pages, blogs, and product/service pages.
- Build and optimize topic clusters and pillar pages to strengthen semantic relevance.
- Ensure content is optimized for answer engines (AI-driven results like Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity) with a focus on structured data, semantic search, and EEAT.
- Collaborate with content teams to develop answer-ready, entity-based, high-quality content.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
- 5 - 6 years of experience in SEO with strong exposure to AEO (Answer Engine Optimization).
- Proven ability to manage SEO across multiple regions with understanding of local search intent.
- Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, and Clarity/Hotjar.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO: Core Web Vitals, schema markup, sitemaps, canonical tags, robots.txt, and indexing.
- Experience with structured data (JSON-LD, FAQ/Product schema) and entity-based optimization.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, Magento).
- Familiarity with AI search models, Google SGE, and LLM-driven search patterns for AEO.
