Job Title: Chief Business Officer - GMAT/GRE Business Location - BKC, Mumbai

Role Summary / Purpose:

This role is responsible for scaling, and leading IMS's GMAT/GRE Test Prep Business. It will own end-to-end business responsibility - including strategy, revenue, profitability, product excellence, team leadership, and market positioning. Without this role, IMS will lack focused leadership and ownership to capture the growing graduate test prep market, especially for global MBA and MS aspirants.

Role Scope & Accountability (Top 4 but not limited to):

- Lead Business Strategy & Growth Initiatives. Design and execute the strategic roadmap for GMAT/GRE business growth.


- Drive Revenue & P&L Ownership. Achieve topline, bottom-line, and profitability metrics,


- Monitor funnel KPIs and optimize cost structures.


- Product & Delivery Excellence. Innovate on delivery models including live, online, hybrid, and mentorship-based models aligned with student needs.

- Create Marketing & Brand Outreach Strategy. Oversee lead generation, nurture funnels, and ensure strong sales enablement practices.


- Establish IMS as a preferred GMAT/GRE coaching brand in India.

Outcomes expected (within first 6-12 months):

- Drive aggressive growth in market share by aligning product strengths, brand equity, and sales efforts across both IMS and Manya networks.


- Achieve defined revenue and enrollment targets through effective marketing, center support, and sales enablement strategies.

- Optimize sales and marketing operations to scale lead-to-admission funnel performance and improve ROI across channels.

- Leverage IMS's recent acquisition of Manya - The Princeton Review, one of the leading GMAT GRE test prep brands, to consolidate and expand IMS's leadership in the GMAT/GRE space.

Qualification / Competencies Required (Must-Have):

- Postgraduate / MBA from one of the top B-Schools.


- Deep understanding of the test prep or edtech market; Understanding of student lifecycle and buyer journey (preferred).

- Strategic thinking, P&L management, team leadership, marketing acumen, stakeholder communication.

- Excellent planning, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- IMS emerges as a leading name in the GMAT/GRE test prep space, with significant gains in market share and brand recall across key cities, creating a strong combined value proposition for students and partners.
