JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Head of Academic Tutoring to lead the development and execution of a new tutoring program specializing in IGCSE and IB school admissions. This role involves crafting a comprehensive business plan, designing a go-to-market strategy, and developing a scalable tutoring framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing the program from the ground up, ensuring its alignment with market needs, and driving growth in this new business segment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Strategy & Market Entry:
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan for the academic tutoring segment.
- Design a go-to-market strategy to position the program effectively in the education sector.
- Conduct market research to identify demand, target audience, and competitive landscape.
Program Development & Execution:
- Create a structured academic tutoring program tailored for IGCSE and IB curriculum requirements.
- Design admission preparation strategies for students targeting top-tier IGCSE and IB schools.
- Ensure curriculum alignment with global academic standards and best practices.
Student Performance & Admissions Support:
- Ensure students are well-informed about their options, helping them make educated decisions regarding their academic and career paths.
- Guide students through the application and enrollment processes,clarifying any queries they have.
Enhance Enrollment and Satisfaction:
- Foster a positive experience for students by offering exceptional support and guidance throughout their journey with IMS.
- Address concerns promptly and effectively, aiming to enhance student satisfaction and retention.
Stay Updated on Educational Trends:
- Stay abreast of current trends and developments in education,particularly in fields relevant to IMS programs.
- Continuously update knowledge and resources to better assist students in navigating their educational choices.
Contribute to Organizational Goals:
- Contribute actively to achieving organizational revenue targets through effective lead management and ensuring required student enrolments.
- Prepare monthly action plan aimed at expanding and improving enrolment and lead nurturing.
Maintain Professionalism and Compliance:
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines in all interactions with students, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, database management and regulations.
REQUIRED SKILLSET:
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand the global education market, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Visionary Thinking: Set long-term goals aligned with organizational objectives, focusing on growth and scalability.

PREFERED QUALIFICATION:
- Master's degree from an appropriately accredited institution.
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Business Development of IGCSE and IB school admissions
