Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and technically skilled Pre-Sales Consultant to support and coordinate all pre-sales engagements related to Impelsys products and services. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between the sales, product, and engineering teamsdelivering high-quality, tailored solutions that meet complex client requirements across international geographies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proposal Development & RFX Management
- Manage and coordinate the end-to-end response lifecycle for RFI, RFP, and RFQ submissions across APAC, EMEA, and US regions.
- Translate client business problems into well-structured technical solutions and value propositions.
- Create technically detailed, competitive proposals, presentations, and solution blueprints using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
2. Technical Pre-Sales Support
- Assist sales teams with technical scoping, feasibility assessments, and solution definition during early-stage client discussions.
- Conduct platform demonstrations, walkthroughs, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions tailored to client needs.
- Prepare and present compelling proposal defense decks for client stakeholder review sessions.
3. Market and Competitive Intelligence
- Perform comprehensive secondary market research to identify technology trends, competitor positioning, and market benchmarks.
- Use insights to craft customized solutions that are competitively priced and technically viable.
4. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Interact with client stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Product Heads) to understand business challenges, compliance mandates, and ecosystem requirements.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align offerings with client expectations and future roadmaps.
5. Team Management & Process Improvement
- Lead and mentor a team of 7-8 pre-sales professionals, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of all pre-sales assets.
- Define, implement, and optimize pre-sales processes, templates, and knowledge repositories.
- Maintain standard operating procedures and checklists for quality assurance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or business analysis roles within the IT services or product domain.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience handling RFX documentation, client workshops, and proposal development.
- Proven ability to convey technical concepts in clear, non-technical language for business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure), SaaS, microservices, API integrations, and data analytics is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and product teams.
Preferred Attributes
- Exposure to learning management systems, content platforms, healthcare technology, or publishing domains is a plus.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proposal management tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality and precision.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines across time zones.
