We are looking for an entrepreneurial, business-driven and purpose-led Chief Operating Officer to lead IGF-India into its next phase of growth.

Role Overview:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and external representation for the organization. The COO is responsible for advancing the mission, ensuring financial sustainability, strengthening donor and stakeholder relationships, and maintaining compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive aggressive yet sustainable growth for the organisation.

- Build a strong pipeline of corporate partnerships, CSR opportunities, institutional funding and strategic collaborations.

- Develop relationships with CEOs, CXOs, CSR leaders, foundations, philanthropists, government bodies and other key stakeholders.

- Identify new revenue and funding opportunities to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation.

- Build scalable partnership models instead of relying solely on one-off projects or donations.

- Create a strong growth engine for IGF with clear annual targets and accountability.

- Explore innovative models across philanthropy, CSR, healthcare, skilling, livelihoods, sustainability and technology-enabled social impact.

- Ensure that the organisation has a healthy and diversified funding pipeline.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Post graduate degree in Public policy or an MBA from reputed educational institutions.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible positions in program management and fund raising.

- At least 7 years of experience in a major philanthropic organization, including direct oversight of managing a large P&L for an NPO.

- Experience building, leading, and mentoring teams.

- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills.

- Superior management skills, including the ability to advocate for and manage to budget priorities.

- Good networking and people skills.
