Role Description:
The Assistant Vice President Business Development - Government, PSU & CSR Skilling will lead business growth initiatives focused on government bodies, public sector undertakings, and corporate social responsibility skilling projects. This full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the public and social sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting proposals for large-scale skilling programs and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align offerings with client requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Overseeing business planning, revenue forecasting, and contract negotiation.
- Participating in tenders and bids, tracking project performance, and reporting to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Sales within government, PSU, and CSR segments.
- Strong skills in Business Planning, pipeline management, and market analysis.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Account Management for complex engagements.
- Ability to build relationships with senior officials across government departments, PSUs, NGOs, and corporates.
- Experience in education, skilling, edtech, or training services is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, budgeting, and reporting capabilities with comfort working on tenders and RFPs.
- Graduate degree in Business, Management, Public Policy, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
