Position Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)


Department: Sales & Business Development

Employment Type: Full-time


Experience: 3-7 years in B2B Sales (preferably Healthcare / RCM)


Reports To: Director - Sales / VP - Business Development


Key Responsibilities:


Client Acquisition:

- Identify, target, and acquire new clients (clinics, hospitals, healthcare providers, or physician groups) in need of medical billing and RCM services.

- Manage end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.

Lead Generation & Outreach:

- Use tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and email campaigns to generate leads from US/UK healthcare markets.

- Attend online/offline networking events, webinars, and conferences to build connections.

Product Pitching:

- Effectively communicate the value proposition of the companys medical billing, coding, denial management, eligibility verification, and other RCM services.

- Tailor pitches for small practices, multi-specialty clinics, and enterprise healthcare groups.

Proposal & Negotiation:

- Create custom proposals, present pricing models, and negotiate contracts based on the clients size and service requirements.

Market Research:

- Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and healthcare compliance policies (e.g., HIPAA, ICD-10, CPT).

CRM & Reporting:

- Maintain sales pipeline and client interactions in CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


- Bachelors or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

- 3-7 years of experience in international B2B sales, preferably in medical billing, RCM, healthcare IT, or outsourcing services.

- Strong knowledge of US healthcare system, insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, etc.), and RCM process.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Self-starter with ability to work independently and meet targets.


Preferred (but not mandatory):


- Prior experience working with US-based clients or healthcare providers.

- Familiarity with medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks).

- Understanding of sales funnels, BANT qualification, or SPIN selling.


KPIs / Success Metrics:


- Monthly qualified leads added

- Number of client demos/proposals sent

- Conversion rate from lead to closed deal

- Monthly revenue target achievement
