Job Purpose:
The Collections Strategy Manager plays a key role in supporting the organization's goals by driving end-to-end transformation of collections operations through automation, AI/GenAI, and data-driven decision systems. Operating within the Collections Department, this role is responsible for redesigning processes, optimizing case allocation, improving workforce planning, and enabling real-time performance monitoring through analytics dashboards. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and is critical in driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and improved recovery performance, contributing directly to the organization's short- and long-term collections strategy
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive process transformation using low-code platforms, AI/OCR, and GenAI solutions to eliminate manual work and reduce TAT.
- Design autonomous case allocation engines using DPD, behavioural, and geographic data for optimal field productivity.
- Develop and execute annual and multi-year manpower planning strategy for pan-India collections operations across branches.
- Build real-time dashboards (Power BI) for tracking collections performance, risk, and workforce productivity.
- Develop and scale recovery agency and partner ecosystems with strong governance, KPIs, and MIS frameworks.
- Implement digital customer engagement and self-service solutions to improve CX and reduce operational cost.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Commerce/Maths/Statistics; MBA preferred
- 6-12 years' experience in BFSI/NBFC collections, strategy, analytics, or transformation roles
- Experience in automation, analytics, or AI-driven collections initiatives preferred
- Exposure to large-scale operations, manpower planning, and operating model redesign is an advantage
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Strong understanding of retail lending, home loans, and collections lifecycle
