Description:

- We are seeking a highly experienced techno-functional professional with 12+ years in business requirement mapping and software development lifecycle, specializing in cross-border payment systems and ISO20022 standards.

- The role requires bridging business and IT teams, conducting requirement analysis, designing workflows, and ensuring successful implementation of payment solutions.

- Perform requirement analysis, capture business requirements, understanding technical and functional specications in detail.

- Should act to bridge the gap between software development and business teams.

- Assess existing products, propose areas of improvement such as in technical design, functional design, conduct competitive analysis of similar products and segments.

- Work with support team members across different teams and IT vendors.

- Work with functional and technical teams to nalize project scope, software development design and workow design.

- Integrate the updated specications into the proposed systems architecture and ensure compatibility of systems and software designs.

- Coordinate & execute with QA teams for UAT of deliverables.

- Prepare relevant test cases and work ow.

- Provide periodic updates, executive reporting on project status, High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), etc.

- Review development and test deliverables to ensure the completeness of the requirements including implementation of the same.

- Monitor the lifecycle of the project and evaluate the stakeholders reviews and work on requirements.

- Ability to review assigned business processes from end to end to identify and address operational, nancial and technological risks.

- Assist technical team to identify all the limitations and challenges, resolve issues, enable the system for smooth workow.

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain a strong functional understanding of business processes and systems.

- Should act to bridge the gap between IT and business teams.

- Should be responsible for engaging with business lead and other stakeholders for consolidating functional requirements and document processes.

- Should be able to convey the functional requirements to stakeholders, helping them to determine the technical requirements for the work and preparation of Low-level design document.

- Should be responsible for tracking, managing, and reporting on the progress of the requirements.

- Recording of detailed functional requirements provided by business leaders.

- Documenting process flows including risk assessment and mitigation plan.

- Translating functional requirements into technical requirements.

- Able to understand the development requirements and effort involved.

- Tracking the progress of the project requirements.

- Work with program/project managers, product owners, and other team members in providing clarity of requirements and how it relates to the business objectives.

- Validation and verification of solution and confirmation.

- Ability to independently conduct R & D on various payment system designs and options.

- Efficiently communicate with all stakeholders to manage expectations of project in a time-bounded fashion.

- Ability to constantly ensure necessary risk assessments, monitor proactively addressed all risks in a timely fashion.

- Provide proper documentation of risks for specific SOW.

- Ability to analyze data, prepare good quality presentations and high impact reports for Top Management and various committees.

- Ownership of technical and non-technical issues and co-ordination with Cross functional teams for resolving issues.

- Involve in root cause and impact analysis.

- To ensure applications/software environments are fully maintained with appropriately supported updates, patches and/or service packs in line with system maintenance policies.

Experience:

- Minimum of 12+ Years experience.

- Relevant experience of 10+ years in Business requirement mapping, quality analysis and software development lifecycle.

Mandatory:

- Experience in working in a fast paced, high expectation 24x365 environment.

- Experience in Payment Systems specifically in cross border related systems Mandatory.

- Experience in banking domain with specific work experience in Payment Systems Mandatory.

- Candidate should have hands on work experience in cross border payment systems and settlement systems.

- Experience of working on ISO20022 Mandatory.

- Exposure to cross border settlement mechanisms Mandatory.

- It is desirable that the candidate have experience in software applications like Oracle DB, Basic Java, Apache Tomcat, Windows, any one of the UNIX environments (AIX/RHEL), Basics of Network concepts and Basics of PKI framework is desirable.

- Experience in MS Project, Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio skills.

Knowledge:

- Work Experience in Cross border payment and settlement systems Mandatory.

- Knowledge of API and Microservices, various communication protocol, middleware technologies Mandatory.

- PMP certication added advantage.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

- Ability to learn new technologies.

- Understanding and Executing of the SQL Statements and Basics of Java Mandatory.

- Candidate should have good understanding of databases.

- Payments Domain Knowledge for domestic and international market Mandatory.

- Understanding of the regulatory and competitive impacts on Payments.
