IFRS Lead - Financial Reporting - BFSI

Role Overview:

The IFRS Lead will be responsible for managing the organization's IFRS reporting and financial disclosure processes, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves leading reporting activities, driving process improvements, collaborating with key stakeholders, and mentoring team members to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the preparation, review, and submission of IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures.

- Ensure accurate reconciliation between Indian GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements.

- Monitor, evaluate, and implement new IFRS standards, amendments, and regulatory changes.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, actuarial teams, consultants, and regulators for IFRS-related matters.

- Develop and strengthen financial reporting controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Drive automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives within the reporting function.

- Support financial analysis and management reporting requirements related to IFRS.

- Manage reporting timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed within scheduled deadlines.

- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to enhance technical and functional capabilities.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

- CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.

- 4 - 6 years of experience in IFRS reporting, financial reporting, or accounting.

- Experience in the insurance, BFSI, or financial services industry is preferred.

- Exposure to IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 will be an added advantage.
