Role Overview
The Technology Head leads technology strategy and execution for the organization, directing major initiatives across application architecture, enterprise platforms, and CMS deployments. This leader manages large cross-functional teams including senior managers, champions seamless delivery of CMS solutions, and drives operational excellence. The ideal candidate is articulate, technology-agnostic, and adept at inter-team coordination, with significant experience in both in-house and external team contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct strategy, implementation, and optimization of enterprise CMS platforms for internal and client-facing projects.
- Manage, motivate, and mentor large technology teams especially development groups delivering on CMS, web, and digital content.
- Collaborate effectively with senior architects, CTOs, and business leaders to explain architectural choices and technology direction.
- Foster technology-agnostic solution adoption, driving use of best-fit CMS (e.g., Sitefinity, Sitecore, AEM, WordPress) and integration with other systems.
- Oversee system design, governance, and compliance for CMS environments, supporting scalability and performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional and distributed teams including in-house, vendor, and external delivery partners to guarantee timely project completions.
- Champion innovation, workflow optimization, and documentation best practices for CMS and supporting platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement for business process automation, content management, and technical operations across all units.
- Ensure robust training, upskilling, and mentorship for teams working on CMS modules and digital content systems.
