We are seeking a strategic and experienced - Procurement Operations Lead for one of the FMCGG brands within the Ananta Capital portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations :

- Manage daily purchasing activities for - raw materials and packaging materials- , including PO creation, approvals, and order tracking.

- Ensure strict compliance with internal procurement policies and regulatory guidelines.

- Monitor inventory levels for both RM & PM and coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to prevent shortages or overstocking.

- Work closely with the planning team to fulfil material requirements accurately and on time.

Cost Optimization & Budget Management :

- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities across RM & PM categories.

- Collaborate with central sourcing teams for pricing negotiations and vendor terms.

- Implement cost-control measures without compromising product quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Partner with product development and quality teams to source alternate raw materials or packaging solutions and onboard new suppliers.

- Work with finance to ensure procurement alignment with business and budgeting goals.

- Support NPD by ensuring timely procurement of required RM & PM.

- Manage procurement of long lead-time and imported materials.

Risk Management & Reporting :

- Identify supply chain risks around RM & PM availability and develop mitigation plans.

- Prepare and present reports on procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Packaging Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 3-8 years of procurement experience, with strong exposure to - raw material and packaging material sourcing- .

- Preferably from FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, or D2C categories.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.

- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
