iCloudEMS - Finance & Operations Manager

- We are hiring a Finance & Operations Manager to serve as the financial backbone of the organization-owning cash flow, operational discipline, statutory compliance, and financial visibility at a leadership level. This role goes beyond accounting and execution; it requires business judgment, rigor, and the ability to translate numbers into clear, decisive insights for founders.

- The ideal candidate has operated in fast-growing service or technology-led environments, understands the realities of cash management in startups, and brings maturity in handling both growth and constraint with equal confidence.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Revenue Assurance & Cash Flow Management

- Own the complete invoicing lifecycle (monthly / milestone-based) with zero leakage.

- Enforce receivables discipline through structured aging analysis (0-30, 30-60, 60-90 days).

- Lead professional, firm, and timely client follow-ups to ensure predictable collections.

- Identify and escalate collection risks early; ensure proactive intervention.

- Build and maintain rolling cash-inflow forecasts aligned with revenue plans.

2. Payroll Governance & Compensation Operations

- Ensure flawless, on-time payroll execution across all cycles.

- Manage salary structures, incentives, deductions, and reconciliations.

- Partner with HR on workforce changes including onboarding, exits, and final settlements.

- Oversee payroll-linked statutory obligations including TDS, PF, and ESIC (where applicable).

3. Vendor Management & Cost Control

- Govern vendor payments with strict adherence to contractual timelines.

- Establish cost control mechanisms to protect margins and prevent cash erosion.

- Design and enforce approval matrices and payment authorization workflows.

- Continuously evaluate operational spend for efficiency and optimization.

4. Compliance, Controls & Financial Reporting

- Ensure accurate and timely GST filings (monthly/quarterly) and TDS returns.

- Maintain statutory and financial compliance with minimal external dependency.

Produce high-quality Monthly MIS dashboards covering:

- Cash position and liquidity health

- Receivables and payables exposure

- Burn rate vs revenue performance

- Short-term and medium-term runway analysis
