Role Overview:

As an FP&A & Strategic Business Partner, you will be a key member of the finance team, providing financial leadership and strategic insights to drive business performance. You will collaborate closely with business leaders (CFO and Executives), acting as a trusted advisor to influence decision-making and optimize resource allocation. This role involves developing financial models, conducting in-depth analysis, and presenting findings to senior management, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Person should be well proficient in financial modelling (including remodeling) and assessing the financial impact of changes to any of the areas in the Business Case- changes to dates, bands, new roles identified, move locations, and all other possible reasons. Non-Headcount cost of finance which client incurs and any changes to the profile as well. Purely Excel based environment, so experience based on complex Excel models is required.

- Value committed to the client is owned by IBM and it is not a passive reporting role. Person will need to have maturity to challenge the changes backed with data. The details also feed into client forecasts and board reporting. It is a critical role both for IBM and for the client team.

- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast business performance, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.

- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives.

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, communicating key findings and recommendations.

- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.

- Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.

- Oversee the preparation of P&L statements and other financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Lead cost analysis initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, financial modeling, and business analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making.

- Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives.

- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

- Experience in strategy consulting, providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth.

- Proficiency in P&L management and board reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
