Accounts & Finance Manager

Location: Mangalore or Bengaluru with Frequent Travel Mangalore| Experience: 3 to 5Years

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (up to 5 years' experience) to manage accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. The role offers direct exposure to the CFO and involvement in key financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Reporting

- Maintain books as AS and Companies Act

- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

- Handle revenue recognition and reconciliations

- Support MIS and management reporting

2. Budgeting & MIS

- Assist in budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

- Track financial performance and key metrics

- Support financial modelling and project profitability analysis

3. Tax & Compliance

- Manage GST filings and reconciliations

- Handle TDS, income tax, and returns

- Support audits and ROC compliance

4. Treasury Management

- Monitor cash flow and bank transactions

- Manage receivables, payables, and vendor payments

- Prepare short-term cash forecasts

5. Controls & Processes

- Strengthen internal controls and SOPs

- Improve accounting processes and automation

- Maintain proper documentation

6. Investor & Board Support

- Assist in board reports and investor updates

- Prepare financial data and disclosures

- Maintain shareholding and related records

Eligibility:

Mandatory:

- Chartered Accountant (ICAI)

- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting

- Good Excel and ERP skills

Preferred:

- Exposure to Ind AS / IFRS

- Experience with Zoho ERP

- Startup or manufacturing experience
