
Role Summary:
The Talent Manager is responsible for supporting and executing talent management initiatives across the organization, including learning & capability development, succession planning, high-potential talent programmes, and talent analytics, ensuring effective implementation, governance, tracking, and reporting of key talent initiatives across the organization.
Roles and Responsibility:
1. Talent Management & Succession Planning:
- Drive talent review and succession planning processes for critical roles.
- Identify high-potential talent and track successor readiness.
- Maintain talent pipelines and development plans for key talent.
2. Learning & Capability Development:
- Conduct training needs analysis and competency gap assessments.
- Design and maintain organization-wide competency frameworks covering technical, functional, leadership, and behavioural competencies for manufacturing and corporate workforce segments.
- Design and deliver learning interventions aligned to business priorities.
- Develop capability-building frameworks and learning roadmaps.
3. HiPo Development Programs:
- Manage High Potential (HiPo) talent programs and development journeys.
- Track HiPo progress, retention, and career movement.
- Coordinate leadership development, coaching, and mentoring initiatives.
4. Performance Management & Organizational Effectiveness:
- Support performance management cycles, calibration, and goal-setting processes.
- Manage competency-based development planning and performance improvement initiatives.
- Support organizational design and role clarity projects.
5. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I):
- Lead efforts to embed DE&I principles into all aspects of talent management, including recruitment, retention, development, and promotion, fostering a culture of belonging and inclusivity.
6. Learning Operations & Governance:
- Manage annual learning calendar, budget, and training records.
- Track training participation, feedback, and program effectiveness.
- Ensure governance and continuous improvement of L&D processes.
7. Talent Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain talent and learning dashboards.
- Analyse talent trends, succession metrics, and capability gaps.
- Provide insights and reports to support workforce and talent decisions.
Experience Required:
- 78 years in Talent Management or Learning & Development.
- Ability to work with senior business leaders and global stakeholders.
Preferred Education:
- MBA/PGDM in HR.
- Certification in OD, Talent Management, Coaching, or Learning & Development.
