Role Summary: As the Leader of Business IT, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the Business IT function within Huhtamaki India. Reporting to Flexible Packaging Segment Head of IT, you will play a vital role in aligning technology strategies with our business goals, driving innovation, and ensuring the efficient operation of our IT applications. This position requires a combination of business process & technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team and support the technological needs of Huhtamaki. Responsibilities: 1. As part of a global team, develop and execute the overall IT strategy aligned with the Huhtamaki's business objectives, ensuring it supports growth, efficiency, and innovation. 2. Lead and manage the Business IT department, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and evaluating team members to maintain a high-performing and motivated workforce. 3. Collaborate with global IT teams such as global process owners, security, and infrastructure teams to achieve local and global targets. 4. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all enterprise applications to ensure reliability, security, and scalability. 5. Collaborate with business leaders to understand their business and relevant technology needs. Enable an effective governance structure to identify and focus on the highest priority initiatives. 6. Drive the implementation of new technologies and digital initiatives, ensuring effective change management and user adoption. 7. Develop and manage the IT budget, monitoring expenditures and optimizing costs while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and projects. 8. Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data security, and best practices. 9. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the business and recommending strategic investments. 10. Foster strong relationships with external vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure service level agreements are met. 11. Take responsibility in data security, disaster recovery and business continuity plan to minimize downtime and mitigate risks to critical IT systems and data. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or any other related field. 2. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within an IT department, preferably as a Head of Business IT/Enterprise Applications or a similar position. 3. ERP or other business applications implementation and support experience. 4. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align technology initiatives with organizational goals. 5. Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a diverse team, fostering collaboration, and developing talent. 6. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver results within budget. 7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 8. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in India. 9. Proven track record in driving digital transformation initiatives and leveraging technology to improve business processes. 10. Good understanding of global standards and generally accepted principles to tailor and apply to Huhtamaki's needs.
