Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager with 35 years of relevant experience to manage and grow our digital presence across platforms.


The ideal candidate will have experience working in B2B industries such as petrochemicals, plastics, or rubber and be adept at content creation, community engagement, and digital strategy execution.


Key Responsibilities (KRA):


- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals


- Create engaging, industry-relevant content tailored for platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube


- Manage the social media calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all channels


- Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics such as engagement, reach, CTR, and follower growth


- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to align messaging and campaigns


- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms in a timely and professional manner


- Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and competitor activities in the petrochemical and manufacturing sectors


- Oversee paid social media campaigns and coordinate with digital agencies or freelancers, as needed


- Support product launches, trade shows, and industry events through targeted social campaigns


- Maintain consistency in brand voice, visuals, and messaging across all platforms


Required Skillsets:


- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics (Meta Suite, LinkedIn Ads, Buffer/Hootsuite, etc.)


- Excellent content writing and editing skills with a flair for technical and industrial topics


- Basic graphic design knowledge (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)


- Proven track record in growing B2B brand presence and engagement on social media


- Understanding of SEO, hashtags, and content optimization techniques


- Ability to interpret analytics and adjust strategies accordingly


- Experience with paid ad campaigns and social media budgeting


- Strong organizational and time-management skills


- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors


Qualifications:


- Master's/Bachelors degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or related field


- 35 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the petrochemical, plastic, rubber, or manufacturing industries


- Familiarity with industrial B2B audiences and technical product communication is a plus
