
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contractual Compliance Consultant to ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and company-specific compliance requirements within the Petrochemical, Plastics, or Rubber industry.
The consultant will be responsible for assessing, reviewing, and managing compliance risks in contracts, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth and compliant execution of commercial and operational obligations.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
- Review and assess commercial contracts for compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate contractual risks across projects and supply chain functions
- Ensure all executed contracts are aligned with applicable industry standards and regulatory frameworks
- Monitor vendor and third-party compliance with contractual obligations
- Work closely with legal, procurement, and business units to manage contract-related queries
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance protocols
- Draft and implement contract compliance guidelines, SOPs, and documentation
- Support internal and external audits related to contracts and regulatory matters
- Maintain a centralized repository for contracts and compliance tracking
- Stay up to date on industry-specific regulations and provide impact analysis on operations
- Report compliance deviations or risks to senior management and suggest corrective actions
Required Skillsets:
- Strong understanding of contractual frameworks, compliance laws, and regulatory standards
- In-depth knowledge of contract lifecycle management in the petrochemical/plastics/rubber industry
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as BIS, REACH, OSHA, and environmental laws (if applicable)
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual terms
- Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, contract management software, and document management systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills
Qualifications:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance Management, or a related field
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in contractual compliance within petrochemical, plastics, or rubber industries
- Certification in Contract Management or Compliance (preferred)
