Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Channel Sales Manager to drive and expand our dealer/distributor network in the assigned territory. You will be responsible for onboarding new channel partners, strengthening existing relationships, and ensuring consistent sales growth through channel development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a robust network of distributors, dealers, and retail partners.
- Achieve sales targets through effective planning and execution of channel strategies.
- Conduct market mapping to identify potential partners and expansion opportunities.
- Drive secondary sales and ensure proper product availability at channel partner points.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to fine-tune pricing and promotion.
- Conduct regular channel partner meetings, training sessions, and product demos.
- Manage collections and ensure timely payments from channel partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, marketing, accounts) to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Business or Marketing); MBA is a plus.
- 4-8 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in lighting, electricals, hardware, or FMCG.
- Strong relationship management skills and distributor/dealer network knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and territory management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
