Ensure that process and procedures are continually reviewed and improved and the changes are communicated and implemented effectively. The job also entails checking on internal audits and measures undertaken and regularly reviews them in order to maintain quality and productivity at the optimum level. Set a high standard of continuous staff motivation and leadership to ensure a good work environment.  - To process and review accurately and also in a timely manner, activities pertaining to Transfer Agency functions in Kolkata. Have regular engagement with business partners  Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas Typical Targets and Measures  - Impact on the Business/Function   - To acquire a broad understanding of the transfer agency process and to keep abreast with the latest developments in the assigned markets on the rules and regulations by the regulators, stock exchange and etc that may have implication on the daily processing activities.   - Devise and analyze MI requirements/processes to ensure the tracking mechanism is reflective of the current business activities and its ability to measure the team's performance across different market with different level of experience.  - Ensure that business data requirements are completed accurately and supporting statistics/reports/returns are presented to business/management within agreed timescales  - To plan for standardization of transfer agency processes by sharing the best practices across the various markets with the aim to enhance cost effectiveness and efficiencies  - The role does not have any staff reporting to it but requires involvement in production management/process efficiency and sustainable savings related projects and cost reduction.   - Understanding of the business and keeping abreast of development in the market.  - Able to propose improvements to enhance service delivery  - MIs are provided timely and accurately.  - Manage high volume and high value transactions and ensure no trades/activities are missed, which would result in claims and adverse client impact.  - Average volume of 200k to 225k transactions   - Able to propose ideas/initiatives to support FTE reduction from business process improvement initiatives or efficiency gains.   Customers / Stakeholders  - Process productivity and quality targets are set, monitored and achieved to ensure optimum resource utilisation and achievement of business objectives and customer SLA- s  - Drive rigorous and customer centric Quality Campaigns and initiatives to increase Quality awareness in the team.  - Problem situations are proactively identified and resolved to give maximum customer satisfaction and escalated where necessary.
