About the Department : Wholesale and Market Risk [WMR] reports directly to the Group CRO and is responsible for the approvals, policies, portfolio management and reporting on the Group's Wholesale and Market Risk exposures. Group WMR also works with Regional WMR functions across Global Risk to ensure functional consistency and delivery across all group offices. The role will be responsible for the Stress Testing area for Traded Risk Management in Asia Pacific region. Support ongoing Stress Testing exercises in accordance with the global, regional and countries- regulatory requirements, including PRA, HKMA and country EWST/ICAAP etc under the scope of Traded Risk.&nbsp; The role will cover two risk areas: traded credit risk and market risk. Role Responsibilities: The role requires supporting the ownership and accountability on some of the key elements of the stress testing framework. This includes: - Implement new Stress Testing scenarios in a timely and successful manner - Promote greater understanding of Stress Testing concepts, procedures and results among front office staff and support staff. - Engage with regulators and internal/external auditors to satisfy questions and requests as part of formal and informal reviews. - Supporting market and traded credit risk stress testing related exercises - Ensure monitoring/ oversight on stress testing for Traded Risk is effective and appropriate Education &amp; Skills required : - Masters degree in Finance / risk management - Experience range of 6 to 8 years, post qualification - Thorough understanding of counter party credit &amp; market is essential - Experience working market risk P&amp;L, RWA, stress P&amp;L is mandatory - Working knowledge of MS Access is required; whereas knowledge of SAS / Tableau / SQL is preferred - Excellent communication &amp; stake holder management skills - Relevant professional body qualification (e.g. CFA/FRM) is desirable
