Job Description - Role : Data Mapping &amp; Remediation Specialist - Level : Manager -IC - Band : 6 Key Responsibilities 1. Responsible for solving highly complex data quality and data mapping issues on multiple projects, and providing consultative support to various functions. 2. Monitor the data quality issue life cycle in the appropriate tools to facilitate tracking, prioritizing issues to focus on the most critical, and managing them to resolution. 3. Engage with the issue raiser to understand data flow in regards to the Critical Data Elements affected. 4. Perform Root Cause Analysis for each issue 5. Identify short term / quick win as well strategic solutions for each issue 6. Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data patterns/data flows and effectively connect the data dots and identify the solutions for the issue Skills/Experience Required - 7+ years plus of Data Quality, Data Mapping, Data science and Data project management experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred. - 4 year Bachelor's or Master's degree from reputed university in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline. Concentration on Computers, Science or other fields such as engineering; MBAs are preferred. - Exhibit a deep level of ownership and operate independently, flexibly, and proactively. - Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings during various stages of issue life cycle. - Able to see the big picture and identify new solutions as well as can simplify the existing ones, challenging themselves and others to relentlessly improve. - Adaptive to multi data environment with quick learning ability to learn infrastructures. - Understanding / Experience of SQL, Data Architecture, Business Objects - Exposure / Experience to quality data visualization utilities like QlikView, Cognos - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint. Visio,VBA. - Exposure to document and content management utilities like Rational Team Concert. - Adaptive to change environment and capable of delivering in matrix organization - Ability for logical thinking with an eye for detail - Desired banking knowledge / quick learning aptitude and ability of developing knowledge - Effective written and verbal communication skills to work with multiple sites across geographies - Exposure to SDLC and Agile methodologies;
