Department : Credit Analysis Unit Job Location : Kolkata Purpose of Department : To support Relationship Management teams across Global Banking &amp; Markets with the following activities : 1) Analyse funds from a credit risk perspective. 2) Prepare scorecards and proposals in order to facilitate credit approval of funds. 3) Carry out credit review of funds annually or as required. 4) Provide a variety of other data-processing, analytical and documentation services as required. Job Description : - Work on New Business, Annual &amp; Interim Review requests. - Prepare accurate scorecards and analysis as per Group policy and procedures. - Ensure timely submission of all proposals as per agreed PLA standards. - Ensure credit databases and approval systems are updated with accurate information. - Update work-flow and MI systems (TRACS/CLMT) along any other relevant tracker/s accurately and on time. - Assist line manager and peers through mentoring, training, quality checking, work allocation, MI preparation, etc. - Interact extensively with Business, Risk and other onshore teams and address issues and escalations. Actively seek feedback. - Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to in all BAU activities and flag-up any deviation with line manager. - Pro-actively suggest and design improvements in process flow. - Actively participate in requirements gathering, testing and other technology roll-out activities. - Support remediation efforts mandated by regulatory and other requirements. - Understand and comply with all relevant policies and procedures issued by the Group and contained within the Group Standards Manual and relevant Functional Instruction Manuals, Desk Instruction Books and Process Guides -financial, are properly recognized and thoughtfully mitigated in proposals. Skills/Experience Required : - MBA in Finance (or) PG in Commerce/Economics - Candidate must have had at least 1-2 years- experience in a financial organization. - Excellent understanding of financial markets &amp; instruments. - Exposure to the mutual funds/asset management industry will be a plus. Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and front-end business teams.Highly proficient in Excel and Word. Ability to learn new systems quickly. - Excellent communication skills - written &amp; verbal. - Highly customer oriented and interested in providing top quality customer service.
