We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analyst, Risk Transformation Work Location- Bangalore, Hyderabad and Gurgaon The role holder will work in Risk and Compliance Transformation (RCT) which manages the Change the Bank investment portfolio and associated transformation activity on behalf of and across the Risk and Compliance function globally. It is accountable for the global, cross functional change agenda, delivering mandatory/regulatory and strategic change programmes on behalf of Global Risk and Compliance, in partnership with regional teams and in support of business partner control needs. It designs, leads and delivers large scale, complex global change across multiple geographies and jurisdictions, impacting regions and business lines, including system, people and process changes, ensuring the change programmes adhere to the change standards laid out by HSBC and using mandated tools and methods. Risk and Compliance Transformation is part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) sub function which is responsible for providing services to ensure the efficient and effective management and operational running of the function. Roles and Responsibilities: - Defines requirements management processes and designs detailed business solutions and structures based on business requirements, challenges business intent in a constructive manner - Identifies areas of impact on the target operating model and designs activities to mitigate impac - Manages requirements traceability through design and delivery - Utilises financial skills to develop a high-level business case, considering investment and high level benefits - Manages the change implementation activities, including business readiness assessment (i.e. avoiding multiple change clashes), implementation pilot (including approach and checklists) and actual implementation (including reporting status and issues) - Manages the change audience through the commitment curve with communications, training and development - Supports reengineering of processes, where process is one of the many parts of the change, and provides detailed guidance on process design (considering risk, end-to-end and cost) Qualifications: - Graduate or Postgraduate - 7 yrs in Business Analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques - Must have experience in Credit risk concepts i.e. PD, LGD and EAD concepts and credit lifecycle - Must have experience in Wholesale Credit Risk Management - Should have worked on Model Development Methodologies, Model Deployment and Governance - Should be aware of risk concepts, should be from banking domain - Problem solving, Soft skills, Analytical skills are required - You'll achieve more when you join HSBC HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
