Role Purpose :  - The Business Analyst will work within a - change the bank- context and will be accountable for delivering discrete project deliverables.   - Business Analysts are at the centre of how Global Transformation shapes, delivers and embeds change and will work with the business, transformation teams and our delivery partners.   - Primarily, the Business Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing the analysis activity within one or more of the priority programmes. They will support the Requirements Management, Design, Change Management and Implementation Management activities during project definition and delivery.  - Alongside project delivery responsibilities, Business Analysts will also oversee Change Management activities spanning from early change planning and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, organisation alignment) and tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback. They are also ultimately responsible for Implementation Management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change - product-, focusing on accelerating benefits and minimising risk during deployment.  - Implementation activities will also include managing implementation readiness  Role Context :  Business Analysts focus will be on documenting As-Is and To-Be state through Data Process, Data Flow, Data Object Model diagrams and helping to produce and develop the overall Data Architecture. Business Analysts are typically responsible for delivering in the definition / early life cycle phases of projects. In addition, they will be required to support at various points of the Change Lifecycle  - Participate in As-Is and To-Be Analysis, requirements gathering / documenting, Financial Data Analysis, Data Gap Analysis and implementation planning for the FRTB Data Workstream  - Produces below deliverables for the assigned work package of high quality for As-Is and To-Be state at Data element level  Data Flow diagrams  Process Flow diagrams  Data Object Model diagrams  Requirements traceability matrix  Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:  Specific Domain Skills for Maket Data workpackage (risk factors and market prices)   - Data structure/model:  Risk master data (factors, risk parameters) used in market risk  Market prices & rates, including indices and instrument prices  Time series  - Business processes/domains:  Market data management (cut of, collection, matching, cleansing, observability validation)  Risk master data management   Market risk data calculation (scenario generation, valuation)  - IT systems/packages:  Market Data Management tooling such as Asset Control, Markit, -   Data Integration Layers and tooling  - Looking for particular expertise in underlying market data ( and observable transactions) for the risk types including  FX Volatility   EQ Volatility  IR Swaps in less liquid currencies  IR Swaption Vol in Less liquid currencies  Inflation Swaps  Single Name CDS  Knowledge   - Strong business/functional knowledge in banking, and more specifically in financial markets and market risk management   - Able to understand data requirements in markets risk domain.  - Strong functional design skills  - Very good knowledge of data aggregation processes within market risk domain and typical solutions in these  - Understand object and data models   - Be able to demonstrate sound business knowledge and business sense and stay abreast of key industry trends within business and technology.  - Have basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks.  - Familiarity with workflow, system design, dictionary tools an advantage   Experience   - The Business Analyst must have at least five to seven years of experience working on   Process Flows,   Data Flows and   Object Model diagrams  - Investment banking experience highly preferred  - Experience in working in an onsite/offshore model  - Experience in Data analysis, modelling and Business Process Modelling   - Good track record of fostering and maintaining best practice solutions and tools to improve / optimise work flow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, simplify complex processes and maximise own productivity.   - Experience of validating and prioritising business requirements.   - Proficiency in Change Management methodology.   - Good experience with data analysis and interpretation.   - Experience in supporting the facilitation of requirements / design sessions.   - Familiarity and experience with financial services business and governance models.   Flexibility  - Should be flexible to work from different locations   - Should be flexible to travel to onsite / offshore  - Should be flexible to work in a team or as an individual contributor
