HR Operations Manager

Role Overview

The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, from recruitment support and onboarding to ongoing data management and offboarding.

This role requires a strong focus on process excellence, data quality, and compliance, leveraging technology and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function.

You will act as a subject matter expert, guiding the team and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Governance:


- Drive audits, data quality checks, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) governance across all employee lifecycle operations.

- Study existing SOPs, identify gaps, and implement necessary bridges and improvements to ensure

seamless processes.

- Implement and monitor quality assurance frameworks to uphold service excellence and consistency in HR service delivery.

- Conduct robust Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for critical HR processes and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Process Improvement & Automation:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in collaboration with HR leaders and cross-functional teams.

- Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and outcomes of HR processes.

- Provide insights on HR operational trends and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems.

Recruitment & Onboarding Support:


- Support recruitment events and contribute to defining and executing recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.

- Ensure compliance with hiring policies, data privacy regulations, and other relevant regulatory standards throughout the recruitment and employee lifecycle.

Team Leadership & Knowledge Management:

- Support and guide the HR operations team, particularly during knowledge transfer phases, ensuring smooth transitions and effective learning.

- Drive performance metrics for the team during knowledge transfer and continuously thereafter, fostering a high-performing environment.

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing domain knowledge to help new hires quickly come up the learning curve.

- Organize and conduct regular refreshers and cross-training sessions to enhance team capabilities and versatility.

Data Management & Reporting:

- Oversee the integrity and accuracy of HR data, ensuring robust data quality checks and reporting mechanisms.

- Utilize payroll software and reporting tools for accurate payroll processing and insightful data analysis.

Skill Set

- HRIS & Payroll Systems: Advanced proficiency in payroll software and reporting tools.

- SuccessFactors Expertise: Strong understanding and practical experience with the SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll module.

- Process Improvement & Automation: Proven experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and a track record of implementing automation solutions within HR operations.

- Data Analysis & Quality: Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct data quality checks, perform audits, and derive actionable insights from HR data.

- SOP Development & Governance: Expertise in developing, documenting, and governing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Risk Management: Experience with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and developing mitigation plans for operational risks.

- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and strong abilities in stakeholder management, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across all levels.

- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives to completion.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.

- Compliance & Regulations: Solid understanding of HR compliance, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, local labor laws), and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or lead role.

- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and implementing HR technology solutions.

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment
