Our mission is to build sustainable transportation solutions that make energy efficient and eco-friendly mobility accessible to all. As we scale rapidly, were looking for a passionate HR Generalist who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and can help us build a strong people foundation.
Role Overview:
As an HR Generalist, you will be a key enabler of our people strategy from recruitment and culture building to compliance and performance management. Youll partner with leadership to attract, develop, and retain talent while nurturing a purpose-driven and agile work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Manage end-to-end hiring for engineering, manufacturing, and corporate roles.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand through social and campus engagement.
2. People Operations & HR Compliance:
- Maintain employee records, attendance, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESIC, PF, and startup HR best practices.
- Draft and update company policies, HR handbooks, and SOPs.
3. Employee Experience & Culture Building:
- Drive employee engagement programs aligned with startup culture and mission.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries, feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Promote a transparent, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
4. Performance & Learning:
- Facilitate goal-setting, reviews, and appraisal processes.
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill-development sessions.
- Support managers in developing career paths for high-potential employees.
5. Strategic HR Support:
- Provide people insights and analytics to leadership.
- Contribute ideas to strengthen organizational structure and retention strategy.
- Support leadership with headcount planning and HR dashboards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 26 years of experience in HR (startup or manufacturing/EV experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and recruitment.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS tools, Google Workspace/MS Office.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and aligned with sustainability-driven values.
