Role Overview The HR Generalist will serve as a strategic and operational partner to business teams, supporting the entire employee life cycle from onboarding to exit. The role demands a proactive, hands-on HR professional who is comfortable operating in a dynamic, matrixed environment and can work independently to execute core HR processes with accuracy, empathy, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Employee Lifecycle Management - Facilitate seamless onboarding and orientation for new hires. - Partner with HR operations for documentation, system entries, and compliance requirements. - Manage employee confirmations, transfers, and exit processes. Employee Relations & Engagement - Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee queries and concerns. - Support in conducting employee connect sessions, skip levels, and engagement surveys. - Address employee grievances with sensitivity and in line with company policies. Performance Management & Development - Support annual goal-setting, mid-year, and year-end review processes. - Track performance issues, maintain documentation, and support PIP cases when required. - Partner with L&D team for training nominations and effectiveness tracking. HR Analytics & Compliance - Maintain HR dashboards and track key people metrics (headcount, attrition, diversity, etc.). - Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and audit requirements. - Support HR process documentation and audit readiness. Process Improvement & Digital HR - Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve employee experience. - Leverage tools like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar HRMS for day-to-day operations. Qualifications Education: - MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field from a recognized institution. Experience: - 8-12 years of experience in HR Generalist / HRBP roles in GCCs, engineering, aerospace, or technology organizations. - Prior experience in working with global counterparts is preferred. Skills: - Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information. - Proficiency in Excel, HRMS tools, and PowerPoint. - Self-starter with a bias for execution and ability to work independently.
