Background:

Our organization is currently undergoing a major transformation in the way HR services are delivered, moving from a legacy in-house HRMS to a new, modern HRMS platform. This transition is intended to standardize HR processes across entities, enhance automation, and provide real-time, data-driven insights to business leaders. The change will significantly improve employee and manager self-service, strengthen compliance, and create a more seamless and intuitive user experience.

Purpose of the Role:

To act as the Product Owner for the HRMS product across group entities . The role ensures seamless user experience, drives platform adoption, administers the product instance, and acts as the bridge between business users, HRMS product, and the implementation partner throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Role:

The HR Functional Consultant will serve as the central point of contact for all HRMS-related activities post-implementation. This role involves product ownership, continuous optimization, user enablement, issue resolution, and ensuring alignment between HR processes and system capabilities. The individual will gain (or enhance) an HR-Tech perspective by working closely with technology teams, HRMS product team, and implementation partner.

Responsibilities:

- Act as the Product Owner for HRMS across group entities, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate closely with HRMS product and Implementation partner to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and ensure a frictionless user experience.

- Drive platform adoption across all user groups through training, communication, and change management initiatives.

- Administer the HRMS product instance as Super Admin, managing configurations, user access, roles, and permissions.

- Monitor system performance, identify gaps, and coordinate resolution with HRMS product support and Implementation partner.

- Gather feedback from HR teams and end users to prioritize feature requests, process improvements, and automation opportunities.

- Partner with HR process owners to ensure system alignment with evolving business needs and statutory requirements.

- Manage configuration changes, workflow adjustments, and policy updates within the platform.

- Support data integrity, reporting requirements, and HR analytics initiatives.

- Act as the escalation point for system-related queries and incidents across all entities.

- Stay updated on HRMS product roadmap, new features, and best practices to maximize platform value.

- Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and user guides.

Functional and Behavioral Competency Required:

Functional Competencies:

- Strong understanding of HR processes (Core HR, Payroll, Performance, Recruitment, Learning, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms, preferably HRMS product.

- Product ownership and system administration skills.

- Data management, analytics, and reporting proficiency.

- Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations.

- HR-Tech perspective or willingness to develop deep technical-functional expertise.

Experience:

14+ years of experience in HRMS management, product ownership, or HR operations, preferably with Darwinbox or similar platforms.

Proven ability to collaborate with technology teams and external vendors.
