
Plant HR Operations:
- Oversee end-to-end HR activities at the plant including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and exit processes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Manage payroll inputs, attendance, and leave administration in coordination with the central HR team.
- Drive health, safety, and welfare initiatives for plant employees.
HR Business Partnering:
- Act as a strategic partner to plant leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
- Support organizational development initiatives, including performance management and capability building.
- Partner with managers to resolve employee relations issues and foster a culture of trust and collaboration.
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead recruitment efforts for plant-level and corporate roles as required.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create effective job descriptions.
- Drive sourcing strategies including campus hiring, referrals, and external partnerships.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support current and future business needs.
- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire) and continuously improve hiring processes.
People Development & Engagement:
- Lead employee engagement programs tailored to plant workforce needs.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance HR service delivery.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at the plant level.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and implement action plans to improve employee satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and develop a team of 2 HR professionals, ensuring effective delegation and performance.
- Build a high-performing HR team that delivers operational excellence and strategic value.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- Experience: 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-4 years in plant HR/HRBP roles and proven exposure to talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to balance strategic HR partnering with operational execution.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing small HR teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
