
HR Business Partner - Retail & Caf Business

Role Overview:
Seeking a seasoned and execution-focused HR Operations Lead with a strong foundation in retail store operations. This role involves a mix of strategic HR partnership, policy creation, compliance, payroll, industrial relations, and supporting store-level employee engagement and hiring initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Store Operations
- Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership and store managers.
- Develop scalable HR capabilities to support multi-region store operations.
2. Policy, Process & SOP Development
- Create and implement HR policies and SOPs tailored for store environments.
3. Standardize HR practices across locations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
4. Store Launch Support
- Lead HR support for new store launches-hiring, onboarding, training.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure HR readiness for store openings.
5. Hiring & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end hiring for store-level roles.
- Drive high-volume hiring strategies aligned with business growth.
6. Payroll & Compliance
- Ensure accurate monthly payroll inputs.
7. Implement HRMS tools for attendance and leave management.
- Ensure adherence to labor regulations across locations.
8. Industrial Relations
- Manage employee grievances and legal compliance matters.
- Partner with legal teams on labor law cases and risk mitigation.
9. POSH & Culture
- Implement POSH guidelines and ethics awareness.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.
Employee Engagement
- Conduct regular store visits to build employee rapport.
- Launch initiatives that boost morale and drive productivity.
Ideal Profile:
1. 10+ years of HR experience, with 5+ years in a retail-focused role.
2. Experience managing HR across multiple store locations.
3. Strong grip on store-level hiring, SOPs, IR issues, and compliance.
4. HR tech savvy, excellent interpersonal skills, and willingness to travel.
