
Role Overview:
As a Retail HR Business Partner based in Delhi NCR, you will serve as the strategic bridge between human capital initiatives and the fast-paced operational demands of our retail network. You will work closely with regional business heads, store managers, and corporate leadership to translate organizational goals into actionable people strategies. Your day-to-day involves navigating the complexities of a multi-site retail environment, managing high-volume talent cycles, and fostering a culture of performance and service excellence. By driving employee engagement, leadership development, and operational efficiency, you will directly influence store-level productivity, customer satisfaction metrics, and the overall retention of our frontline workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with regional leadership to design and execute workforce planning strategies that ensure optimal store staffing levels and operational readiness.
- Lead end-to-end talent management initiatives, including performance appraisals and succession planning, to build a robust pipeline of retail leaders.
- Drive employee engagement programs tailored to the unique needs of retail staff to improve morale and reduce attrition across store locations.
- Oversee complex employee relations cases and disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws while maintaining a fair and supportive work environment.
- Analyze store-level HR metrics and KPIs to provide data-driven insights that help business heads improve operational efficiency and cost management.
- Champion organizational change initiatives and culture-building efforts to ensure consistent service standards and brand alignment across all retail touchpoints.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing HR operations within a high-growth retail or consumer-facing environment, with a proven ability to navigate the challenges of a geographically dispersed workforce.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders and build credibility with frontline store teams.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret HR data and translate it into strategic recommendations that impact business profitability.
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations, including conflict resolution and crisis management, with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for coaching store managers and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources from a premier institute, complemented by 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in HRBP roles.
- High degree of adaptability and willingness to travel across Delhi NCR to engage directly with store operations and ensure on-ground implementation of HR policies.
