
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP)-Manufacturing Plant to partner with plant leadership and drive people initiatives across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment and be comfortable managing employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations at the shop-floor level.
This role requires someone who can effectively balance strategic HR initiatives with operational execution while building strong relationships with employees and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with plant leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers at the plant.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture.
- Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, disciplinary matters, and conflict management.
- Support workforce planning, manpower optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with managers on performance management, goal setting, talent reviews, and succession planning.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, statutory requirements, and company procedures.
- Analyze HR metrics and recommend people strategies to improve productivity and retention.
- Drive change management and organizational development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring requirements for plant operations.
- Support compensation discussions, promotions, and employee recognition programs.
- Maintain strong communication between employees and management to ensure a healthy work environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of HRBP experience in a manufacturing, engineering, automotive, industrial, FMCG, chemicals, or similar plant-based environment.
- Strong experience working directly with plant employees and operations teams.
- Hands-on exposure to employee relations and grievance handling at the shop-floor level.
- Experience partnering with business leaders to develop people strategies.
- Good understanding of performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
- Knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to balance strategic HR responsibilities with operational execution.
