
HRBP - Manufacturing & Engineering (Plant HR Experience Mandatory)

Role Overview Partner with plant and corporate leadership to drive people strategy, operational HR, and compliance across a manufacturing/engineering setup. Balance strategic HR thinking with strong on-ground execution.
Key Responsibilities
Plant & Business Partnering
- Act as the single point of contact for business leaders on all people matters - plant and corporate
- Support manpower planning aligned to production cycles and AOP
- Drive employee engagement, communication forums, and culture initiatives on the shop floor
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar, grey-collar, and white-collar roles
- Build pipelines for critical technical and functional positions
- Manage campus hiring, lateral hiring, and contract workforce onboarding
Performance Management
- Facilitate goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisal cycles
- Support HODs in KRA/KPI design and performance conversations
- Identify high-potential employees and flag capability gaps
Compliance & IR
- Ensure statutory compliance - PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Factories Act, Contract Labour Act
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic enquiries
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations and manage union interactions where applicable
HR Operations
- Oversee payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and HRMS accuracy
- Drive HR policy implementation, SOPs, and employee handbook adherence
Ideal Candidate
- MPM / MBA HR from a recognized institute
- 10-13 years in HR - mix of plant HR and corporate HR mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing or engineering environments
- Well-versed in labour laws and statutory compliance
- Assertive communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Note: Thursday holiday- candidates must be comfortable with a 6 day working including Sat and Sunday
