Human Resource Business Partner


Role Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to lead end-to-end HR operations across internal workforce management and client-aligned delivery teams. This role will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, driving talent strategy, operational excellence, and employee lifecycle governance within a fast-paced IT services and staffing ecosystem.

The HRBP will be responsible for internal hiring, L&D, payroll governance, employee engagement, compliance, and client HR coordination, ensuring scalability, compliance, and high employee satisfaction across contract and permanent workforce models.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Partnership:

- Act as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategy with organisational growth objectives.

- Translate business plans into workforce planning, capability building, and talent optimisation strategies.

- Partner with leadership on organisational design, succession planning, and performance frameworks.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

- Lead internal hiring across recruitment, sales, delivery, and support functions.

- Collaborate with staffing and delivery teams to align internal capacity with client mandates.

- Drive onboarding excellence and ensure rapid productivity ramp-up.

3. Learning, Training & Development:

- Design and implement structured training programs for recruiters, consultants, and delivery teams.

- Identify skill gaps and build learning roadmaps aligned with IT staffing and client delivery requirements.

- Drive leadership development, performance coaching, and certification initiatives.

4. Payroll, Compliance & HR Operations:

- Oversee end-to-end payroll management, including attendance, incentives, variable pay, and statutory compliance.

- Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory filings, audits, and HR documentation.

- Manage HR systems, policies, SOPs, and employee records with high governance standards.

5. Employee Lifecycle & Engagement:

- Own the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance management, engagement, retention, and exits.

- Drive employee engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and culture-building programs.

- Handle employee relations, grievance management, and conflict resolution professionally and discreetly.

6. Client HR & Stakeholder Management:

- Act as HR SPOC for key IT clients for contract-to-hire and permanent staffing engagements.

- Manage client expectations related to onboarding, compliance, replacements, and workforce continuity.

- Support audits, documentation, and workforce reporting as per client SLAs.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong exposure to IT Services / IT Staffing / Contract-to-Hire models

- Expertise in HR Operations, Payroll, Compliance, and Employee Relations

- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

- Strong understanding of labour laws and HR best practices

- Ability to work in high-growth, fast-scaling environments

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA / Master's in Human Resources or equivalent

- Prior experience in IT staffing, consulting, or managed services organisations

- Experience managing a multi-location or distributed workforce

- Exposure to HRMS, payroll systems, and performance management tools
