Role Overview
We are hiring an HR Business Partner (HRBP) for South & Central regions to partner closely with Sales and Commercial leadership teams in driving people strategy, talent management, workforce productivity, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
The role requires a strong Sales HR background with experience supporting regional sales teams, field-force populations, and commercial functions in fast-paced business environments. The incumbent will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders while driving HR programs aligned with business growth and performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering & Talent Management:
- Partner with Regional Sales Heads, Branch Managers, and Commercial Leaders to understand talent requirements and build talent pipelines.
- Support workforce planning, organization design, succession planning, capability building, and retention initiatives.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor for all people-related matters across the regional sales organization.
- Drive productivity and capability enhancement initiatives for sales teams.
Performance Management & HR Operations:
- Lead performance management cycles, talent reviews, and career progression frameworks for regional teams.
- Monitor and deliver key HR metrics including recruitment, attrition, engagement, diversity hiring, learning adherence, and workforce productivity.
- Collaborate with HR CoEs for talent acquisition, L&D, rewards, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support implementation of HR policies, processes, and governance mechanisms.
Sales Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Build and strengthen a high-performance sales culture focused on meritocracy, accountability, customer centricity, and recognition.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives across field-force teams and branch locations.
- Conduct pulse checks, engagement reviews, and culture-building programs.
- Partner with leaders to improve retention and employee experience.
HR Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze regional HR trends related to attrition, productivity, performance, tenure, and employee engagement.
- Develop actionable insights and recommend interventions to improve workforce effectiveness.
- Present HR dashboards, business insights, and recommendations to leadership teams.
- Drive people analytics and support strategic decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
- 8-10 years of HR experience with minimum 5 years as HRBP supporting Sales organizations.
- Experience in FMCG, FMCD, Consumer Durables, or other sales-intensive industries preferred.
- Strong exposure to Sales HR, field-force management, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Proven stakeholder management capability with ability to influence senior business leaders.
- Strong analytical mindset with exposure to HR analytics and sales workforce metrics.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, MS Office tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, agile, and comfortable operating in a dynamic commercial environment.
Travel Requirement:
- Willingness to travel 20-30% domestically across regional and branch offices.
Preferred Profiles: Candidates from FMCG / FMCD organizations handling Sales HRBP responsibilities for regional sales teams and field-force populations.
