Role Overview:
The HRBP Employee Relations role is a critical on-site position based at our Hosur factory, designed to bridge the gap between management objectives and shop-floor operations. You will act as the primary point of contact for all industrial relations and human resource matters, ensuring a harmonious work environment. Working closely with factory leadership and union representatives, you will drive initiatives that maintain labor stability, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and align HR practices with the broader business strategy to support seamless production output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex wage negotiations and long-term settlements to ensure sustainable labor costs and operational continuity.
- Manage union relations and maintain proactive communication channels to resolve grievances before they escalate into industrial disputes.
- Oversee the implementation of HR policies and factory-level procedures to ensure 100% compliance with labor laws and safety standards.
- Partner with factory management to develop and execute HR strategies that improve employee engagement and retention on the shop floor.
- Conduct thorough investigations into disciplinary matters and ensure that all HR interventions are documented and handled with legal prudence.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance the skill sets of the workforce and promote a culture of high performance.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in industrial relations, specifically in managing unionized environments and navigating complex wage settlements within a manufacturing setup.
- Exceptional proficiency in Tamil and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from shop-floor workers to senior leadership.
- Proven track record of 6-10 years in HR Business Partnering or Industrial Relations roles, preferably within the FMCG or heavy manufacturing industry.
- A post-graduate degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations is highly preferred for this role.
