Job Purpose:
To serve as a strategic partner to Executive Directors and Department Heads, aligning HR strategies with business objectives. The HRBP will play a key role in planning and executing people initiatives across the organization, ensuring effective collaboration between leadership and HR for workforce effectiveness, talent development, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaborate with Executive Directors and HODs to understand departmental requirements and translate them into actionable HR strategies.
- Act as a single point of contact for leadership teams on all HR matters.
- Support the business in achieving its goals through effective manpower planning, organizational structuring, and capability building initiatives.
2. Talent Management and Leadership Development
- Partner with leadership to identify critical talent needs and succession pipelines.
- Facilitate leadership development programs and performance enhancement initiatives.
- Guide HODs in talent identification, retention, and succession planning processes.
3. Performance and Goal Management
- Ensure alignment of department goals with organizational objectives through effective performance management systems.
- Partner with leaders during the goal-setting and appraisal processes to ensure fairness, objectivity, and consistency.
- Provide data-backed insights for improving performance outcomes.
4. Employee Engagement and Communication
- Drive corporate-level engagement and culture-building initiatives in collaboration with department heads.
- Act as a bridge between employees and management to maintain transparent communication and resolve concerns proactively.
- Conduct employee feedback sessions and propose improvement plans to leadership.
5. Organizational Development and Change Management
- Support strategic change initiatives, structure redesigns, and process improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing between departments.
- Partner with business leaders to embed high-performance and continuous-improvement culture.
6. HR Operations and Compliance
- Ensure smooth execution of all HR processes including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and separations.
- Collaborate with HODs and functional leaders to ensure compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.
- Partner with the HR team to ensure timely manpower fulfillment and contract management.
7. HR Data, Analytics, and Reporting
- Provide HR analytics and dashboards to the management for data-driven decisions.
- Track key HR metrics (attrition, manpower utilization, engagement, etc.) and present insights to the Executive Directors and HR Head.
Desired Profile:
- Masters Degree in Human Resources / MBA (HR) or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience in HR, preferably in automotive component manufacturing or engineering sector.
- Proven experience partnering with senior leadership teams.
- Strong business understanding and ability to translate business requirements into HR deliverables.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on exposure to both strategic and operational HR functions.
