The selected candidate would be joining the Supply Chain Analytics team with HP Global Analytics. S/he would work with HP’s Printing & PC business on analytical solution development and intelligence reporting.   - The typical engagement involves working on supply chain planning and fulfillment - helping business to run supply chain smoothly by understanding and generating dashboards, scorecards/reports, drill down/deep dive analysis of data related to units, orders, revenue, shipments, backlog, forecast etc from various internal databases.   - It also involves development of innovative business solutions and ongoing process improvements.   Selected resources are expected to conceptualize the analytical methodology for business problems, provide strategic and operational data-based insights to business management group on a regular basis and achieve business impact.   - Resources are also expected to help the processes to evolve and make them automated, as possible, in spreadsheet based tools so resources can take up further projects in different areas. The selected candidates are expected to manage communication rhythm with key stakeholders on regular basis.  In addition, the analyst would be responsible for  - Identify areas where Global Analytics can provide support to help supply chain achieves its goals  - Take individual responsibility to develop solutions to help business  - Identify present pain areas and provide solutions  - Collaborate, share knowledge, and train co-workers in relevant business areas  Skills requirement  - Engineering in any stream from tier-1 institute and MBA in SCM/Operations  - APISC CPIM / CSCP certified (Desirable)   - Knowledge on Supply-Chain Management - Demand Management, Inventory Management, Purchasing & Physical Distribution  - Independent judgment to perform planning analysis, raise issues and concerns on the plan to propose action plans and solutions without coaching  - Expert knowledge and skills with business applications (e.g., Excel including macros, Access, VBA & SAP Reports)  - Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation)
