Role Overview
The Senior Finance Manager Accounts Payable & Financial Operations is responsible for end-to-end management of accounts payable, payroll accounting, rent disbursements, and compliance activities including GST and TDS.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management:
- Review and process vendor invoices with proper documentation and PO matching.
- Ensure timely disbursement of payments via NEFT/RTGS/cheque, maintaining schedules.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor accounts.
- Maintain accurate vendor master data including bank details, GSTIN, and PAN.
- Knowledge of IND AS is mandatory.
Rent & Lease Payment Processing:
- Manage timely rent payouts to landlords and property owners.
Payroll Accounting:
- Coordinate with HR to validate monthly payroll data and related cost center allocation.
- Post payroll entries and reconcile with financial books.
- Handle accounting for payroll-related statutory dues such as PF, ESI, TDS, and PT.
GST & TDS Compliance:
- Validate GST input credit against vendor invoices; ensure correct classification under CGST/SGST/IGST.
Data Preparation & Audit Support:
- Prepare monthly schedules for GST, TDS, and expense ledgers.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all payments and deductions.
- Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required financial data and reconciliations.
- Prepare detailed reports and workings for audit queries, notices, or assessments.
MIS & Financial Reporting:
- Generate AP ageing reports, payment forecast, and cash outflow projections.
Process Optimization & ERP Management:
- Identify inefficiencies in invoice-to-pay cycle and implement process improvements.
- Support automation initiatives in TDS/GST workflow and payment processing.
- Ensure accurate data capture and reporting through ERP systems like Zoho Books or Tally.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Lead and mentor junior team members in AP, compliance, and data preparation functions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance.
