House Of Diagnostics - Finance Analyst

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for the following core duties:

Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyse complex financial data, including revenues, expenses, capital expenditures, and balance sheet items, to identify significant trends, patterns, risks, and actionable insights. Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards for management review.

Process Optimisation: Proactively identify and implement process improvements across the finance function to optimise financial operations, enhance data integrity, and accelerate reporting.

Performance Measurement: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis against budget and forecast, offering clear explanations for deviations and recommending corrective actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Analytical Excellence: Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of synthesising large datasets into clear, executive-level summaries.

Financial & Accounting Acumen: Solid understanding of core financial concepts, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and relevant financial regulations.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems), Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas are a must), and data analysis/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively present complex financial information and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy, ensuring the reliability and integrity of all financial reports and models.

Education/Experience: Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field / 2+ years of experience in a Finance Analyst or similar role.
