Role Overview

- The Investor Relations role is a strategic position responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective investors.

- This role involves shaping and communicating the company's financial narrative, handling investor communications, and playing a key role in equity fundraising initiatives.

- You will work closely with leadership, finance, and strategy teams to ensure consistent, transparent, and impactful communication with the investment community.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a robust investor relations strategy to communicate GoMaterial's growth story and value proposition

- Manage and nurture relationships with existing investors through regular updates on performance and strategic initiatives

- Prepare high-quality investor materials including pitch decks, financial reports, and presentations

- Lead investor communications during fundraising, board meetings, and strategic discussions

- Support equity fundraising efforts including due diligence, financial modeling, and investor outreach

- Track market trends, competitor activity, and investor sentiment to provide strategic insights

- Coordinate with internal teams (finance, legal, marketing) for consistent messaging

- Organize investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences

- Handle investor queries with accuracy, professionalism, and speed

Required Skillset:

- Strong relationship management skills with investors, VCs, and analysts

- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and equity research

- Excellent communication and storytelling ability (written & verbal)

- Deep understanding of startup ecosystem and fundraising lifecycle

- High ownership mindset with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Background

- Experience in construction tech / B2B / supply chain / procurement / fintech sectors

- Prior experience with or understanding of companies like OfBusiness, Zetwerk, Infra.Market, Moglix, Metalbook or similar platforms

- Exposure to capital markets, venture capital, or private equity ecosystem

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

- MBA / CFA preferred (IIMs or other reputed institutions)
