Role Overview:
- We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to lead our enterprise-wide ERP implementation initiatives within the manufacturing sector.
- The ideal candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or possess an equivalent qualification, with 13-18 years of proven experience in ERP deployment, financial systems, and manufacturing operations.
- This role requires strong leadership, deep functional expertise, and the ability to drive successful ERP transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation Leadership.
- Lead and manage end-to-end ERP implementation programs across manufacturing units.
- Oversee system configuration, integration, testing, and go-live activities to ensure seamless deployment.
- Ensure alignment of ERP functionality with organizational goals, operational processes, and regulatory requirements.
Financial Module Expertise.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for ERP financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Inventory Valuation, Costing, Budgeting, etc.
- Ensure robust financial process mapping, compliance, and controls are embedded into the ERP system.
- Collaborate with finance leadership to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and improve financial decision-making.
Manufacturing Functional Expertise.
- Provide deep insights into manufacturing processes including production planning, shop floor control, procurement, supply chain, and inventory management.
- Customize ERP solutions to address industry-specific needs such as BOM, MRP, capacity planning, and quality management.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, automation trends, and digital transformation opportunities.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ERP solutions.
- Conduct requirement workshops, UAT sessions, and end-user training programs.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and process optimization guidance.
Project Management.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Maintain compliance with project governance frameworks and reporting standards.
Team Leadership.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of ERP consultants and functional specialists.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and accountable work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development initiatives.
Technical & Analytical Proficiency.
- Utilize advanced ERP knowledge and analytical tools, including Excel, to support configuration, reporting, and data analysis.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all ERP modules.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and best-practice guidelines for all implementation activities.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- 15-20 years of experience in ERP implementation within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong command of financial processes, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance.
- Proven experience in ERP project leadership, stakeholder management, and team supervision.
- High proficiency in Excel and ERP tools; knowledge of manufacturing standards and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
